The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the financial health of the organization.
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements. (full set account)
Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the accounting system.- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and variance analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Maintain and update accounting software and systems.- Ensure data integrity and security within the accounting system.
