Job Description

This person will develop, manage and maintain business and accounts within the region, and cross-region if necessary.

Responsible to perform all the activities required to provide technical support to internal/external customers; set up, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and repair Husky products.

Responsibilities

  • Developing business / customers creatively and strategically. Be the contact person for all project related items relating to customer's hot runners and controllers. Building relationship and making regular sales calls.
  • Working and coordinating with sales support teams, to develop value proposition and quote based on understanding customer's needs, for any of new projects, retrofits and enhancements, to escalate to GM if necessary
  • Maintaining and updating customer profile, contact information, opportunitities and actions required in Husky ERP system timely, reporting on lost orders and explanation for competitive purchases. Forecasting for short-term and long-term as accurate as possible.
  • Working with customer support team, to participate and coordinate in customer service projects including system installations start-up and trouble-shooting if required
  • Hosting customer visit or event at Husky factories, or at any other locations, for system buy-offs and product development updates (as require).
  • Maintaining knowledge of Husky technologies and products, to report any field problems which is Husky product and quality related.
  • Working with finance team, to collect information to check customer's credit status, to determine payment terms, and to collect the account receivables according to the contract.
  • Collecting and reporting industry messages, competition information, customer events in the field.
  • Supported for all HR installation , Mold trail, HRC trouble shooting, Training along with Project reviews etc.
  • Set up, troubleshoot and repair Husky product independently.
  • Provide regular and effective paper service report,one copy to customer with their signed up. One copy send back to service coordinator for consolidation on weekly base.
  • Effecitve and proper communication to customer in each task.

Qualifications

  • A mechanical engineering degree/diploma
  • 3 to 5 years of technical exposure to injection molding, Excellent business development and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal and written in both the local language and English
  • Strong tooling or molding knowledge and background
  • Team-oriented, self-driven, with customer intimacy mindset
  • Willing on frequent short-distance travel
  • Excellent office software skills Word / Excel / Powerpoint are must
