Position Summary:
The Accountant I is responsible for performing accountingrelated duties on a professional level. This position consists of various responsibilities in the following areas: invoicing, payment processing, and other duties as assigned.
Important Note: This is a short-term role for 6 months.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The Accountant I is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Check and verify all incoming invoices
Assisting manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Processing payments (Petty Cash)
Check and verify the Vendor Registration Form
Assisting the team for External Auditor to accurate and timely Year End Audit and Tax Audit.
Processing of accounts payables
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controls
Ensure compliance with local reporting requirements (sales taxes, VAT, income taxes, WHT)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Bachelors or relevant work experience or certification/courses.
At least 1 year of experience in accounting. Basic experience in financial statements (income/P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement) and a good understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
Knowledge of Accounting Close procedures to create, implement, and manage.
Basic experience in operating Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
ng or related fields.
Basic experience in accounting systems (having experience in ACCURATE Online would be preferable)
Organized and high attention to detail
Proficiency in written and verbal English language
Willing to relocate to Yogyakarta
