We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of daily accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the company's financial data.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and enforce internal controls and guidelines for proper accounting methods, processes, policies and principles.
- Responsible for the accounting of complex transactions typically associated with advanced accounting, such as verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
- Keep up to date with accounting principle developments and regulatory requirements.
- Set standards of excellence in Corporate Accounting's General Ledger work products, provide necessary training and hold staff accountable for adherence to accounting.
- Provide recommendations, improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance position, ideally in a logistics or transportation company.
- Experience in the startup industry is a must.
- Experience in a Public Accounting Firm is preferred.
- Possess experience & knowledge in EBITDA and Operating Cash Flow.
- Possess experience or knowledge in IFRS 16 / PSAK 73
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- High level ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work full WFO at Tangerang
