Role Overview:
We are currently seeking for anAccounting & Tax Staffwith a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and tax-related roles. The ideal candidate must be familiar withZahiraccounting software and have a strong understanding of tax compliance and financial reporting. You will be responsible for managing tax filings and ensuring that all tax regulations are met.
Job Descriptions:
- Handle and submit all tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring that all tax-related transactions are accurately recorded using Zahir accounting software.
- Support and assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities when required.
- Perform tax reconciliations and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in developing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax filings and financial reports.
- Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure 100% compliance.
- Assist the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks related to financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and tax.
- Proficient in tax compliance, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in tax filings and tax report.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Proficient in Zahir, as well as other tools like Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to explain complex tax matters clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
- A background in tax consultancy would be a plus.
