Process Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for the cellphone assembly production line process at manufacture. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including global engineer team, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth and efficient product launches. The engineer will optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot technical issues, drive corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand product specifications and assembly process requirements to transfer to factory team.
- Drive NPI assembly process activities during new cellphone model introduction.
- Transfer assembly tooling list, information and specification.
- Interface between global process engineer team and factory process team.
- Conduct process validation and troubleshooting during mass production and pilot runs.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues to meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
- Work with suppliers and production teams to ensure the readiness of equipment, and tooling for new product launches.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Technical Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in electronics or mobile devices.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and experience with cellphone assembly process.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Develop cost models and understanding of key cost drivers.
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously.
- Ability to work across functions and cultures.
- PFMEA knowledge.
- Statistical analysis and process control.
- CAD and simulation software.
- Cycle time optimization.
- Layout Design / Capacity control.
Test Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for implement and maintain factory test process to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile devices during the manufacturing process. This role involves testing hardware and software components, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing test issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement testing process for mobile devices in the production line.
- Drive NPI test process during new cellphone model introduction.
- Analyze test results, identify test defects, and report findings to the production and Global engineering teams.
- Collaborate with production, and quality assurance teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Interface between global test team and factory test team.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with devices and testing equipment.
- Support in continuous improvement and optimization of the NPI test processes.
- Drive manufacturing cost reduction projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile device testing or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of factory testing tools solution and development and RF tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop cost models and understanding of key cost drivers.
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously.
- Ability to work across functions and cultures.
- Knowledge of MSA, CP&CPK, GRR.
- Wireless equipment/tests experience and mobile device system experience.
- Programing skills (C++).
