Experience:
Operating, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating complex analysis tools such as GC-MS, Ion Chromatographer (IC), Photoionization Detector (PID), Flame Ionization Detector (FID), PTR-MS, MITAP VOC Analyzer and other analytical equipment
Key Responsibilities include:
- Performing service tasks like in-house repair and on-site commissioning for various gas quality analyzers such as PTR-MS, MITAP VOC Analyzer, GCMS, IC, PID, FID and other online gas tester and analyzer, Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), and Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS).
- Troubleshooting analyzer & advising Production, Engineering, Quality and Laboratory departments on the best solutions following standard procedures and safety guidelines.
- Support project team to perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for project
- Identifying and listing preventive & maintenance of the analytical equipment and ensuring the upkeeping of the analytical equipment
- Perform calibration according to the requirement of relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
- Provide equipment-related training to relevant departments and exhibit the equipment capabilities to customers
- To assist the product management team with the new requirements from customers regarding gas analyzers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, electronics, electrical, mechatronics engineering or a similar field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service engineer/ analytical equipment service engineer
- Technical expertise in air/gas analytical instruments.
- Familiarity with the process and environmental monitoring equipment.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
- Strong planning and time management skills for job efficiency.
- Knowledge of gas analysers, CEMS, and other laboratory analytical equipment is advantageous
