Identify fraudulent transactions and high-risk transactions within the business portfolio.
Develop and manage fraud risk strategies, including the creation of rules and triggers to detect and prevent fraudulent activity across all business operations.
Determine existing fraud trends by analyzing accounts and transaction patterns.
Lead the investigation of fraud cases, providing detailed risk assessments and developing action plans to address vulnerabilities.
Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during the investigation.
Work closely with product and operations teams to ensure fraud risk is considered in all new initiatives, products, or expansions.
Develop fraud risk reports for management, highlighting trends, high-risk areas, and the effectiveness of existing strategies.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to fraud prevention.
Requirements:
5+ years of expertise in anti-fraud and dealing with unsecured loans, in bank/multi finance/fintech
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Data Science, or related fields; relevant certifications (e.g., CFE, CRISC) are a plus.
Experience writing, owning and operationalizing compliance policies in a financial services context
Understanding of regulatory landscape and industry practices relating to Fraud or compliance issues
Proven track record in building and managing fraud detection strategies, controls, emerging fraud trends, and monitoring systems within the financial services industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (familiar with Metabase, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace) is a plus
