Role Description
This is a contract role for an Area Retail Manager located on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Area Retail Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as communication, team management, sales, customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Location: Based in Jakarta.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Management, Marketing, or Retail).
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Area Supervisor, Area Manager, Regional Manager, or Area Coordinator, overseeing multiple branch stores in a retail company specializing in gadgets, mobile phones, accessories, spare parts, and mobile phone services. (Must Have Qualification)
- Skills:
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities to lead teams and manage retail processes effectively.
- Language: English conversation skills are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Field Force Management team to ensure successful execution of strategies at the field level.
- Oversee the Retail Management Officer (RMO) team to ensure the achievement of performance standards set by HQ.
Channel Acquisition:
- Lead the Channel Acquisition process by analyzing the expansion team's data and insights to identify potential opportunities for growth.
Distributor Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with distributors regarding LDU (Last Distribution Unit) order processes to ensure timely and accurate product availability.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure that operational elements, such as LDU and POSM (Point of Sales Materials), are implemented according to HQ standards across all retail locations.
RMS Management:
- Oversee the Retail Management System (RMS) to support expansion and operational functions, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with company objectives.
Data Accuracy:
- Ensure 100% accuracy of data assets related to the IR (Independent Retailer) channel, maintaining records in compliance with company standards.
