You'll closely collaborate with both internal and external partners and vendors to develop concepts and ideas that align with each artist's unique style and target audience. Your critical role will involve scouting new talent, nurturing their artistic growth, negotiating contracts, coordinating studio sessions, strategizing marketing efforts, networking within the industry, managing budgets, and handling administrative tasks to ensure successful music releases. Throughout, you'll maintain a high level of quality for our artists while upholding the company's quality standards.
What you'll do:
- Manage and guide artists ideas, ensuring alignment with our artist DNA.
- Oversee the recording process, including coordinating studio sessions, selecting producers and engineers, and ensuring the project's creative vision is maintained consistently
- Supervise production from brainstorming and/or workshops to post-production.
- Handle administrative duties for artist management, including paperwork, clearances, and rights management. Ensuring legal and contractual obligations are fulfilled, maintaining organized paperwork for each project.
- Offer advice and expertise on current and future music trends, as well as general consumer demands.
- Collaborate with marketing and promotional colleagues to ensure effective distribution of key single track concepts across all divisions, including treatments on various platforms.
Who you are:
- Excellent Interpersonal skills relationship building with artists/producers/music managers/creative vendors etc.
- Strong negotiation skills
- High on Emotional Quotient in order to support the artist/music through the lifecycle
- Outgoing, must be interested in going to gigs, performances, interacting with consumers of music as well as people who are part of music industry in any way.
- Outgoing, friendly and persuasive
