Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Assistant Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for managing the accounting records, compliance with the regulations, overseeing accounting operations and ensure timely and accuracy of financial information for Indonesia Entities.
He/she reports to the Finance BP Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Month End Closing
Oversee month end closing and liaise with SSC for all month end reporting requirements, GL posting required not limited to accruals.
Review and prepare month end close and reporting (AR, AP, GL and TB).
Handle balance sheet confirmation including reconciliation and analysis.
Handle cashflow (reporting/planning/analysis) and banking matters.
2. Tax Matters
To support and act as liaison with tax consultants on matters pertaining to Corporate Tax, Tax Audit, Tax Inquiries, Transfer Pricing & other matters.
To perform VAT reconciliation for items to be claimed during the VAT filing for the month and to ensure the Notes to the Accounts are updated and reflects the correct VAT Receivables / Payables.
Liaise with Tax Agent to ensure timely filing and submission of VAT, WHT and Corporate Income Tax.
- Other Matters
Provide feedback for improvement of internal processes.
Liase with External Auditors to manage yearly statutory audit requirements.
Assume any other or regional tasks as and when required.
Escalate compliance on non-conformance or findings in a timely manner.
Provide support on Internal Audit activities and queries.
Adherence to and enforcement of Group Policies (Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Legal).
Ensure the operations of the business are complying to the local Acts and Laws.
To assist with any other tasks as determined by FBP Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting/Related Field
At Least 5 Years in similar role with Audit Experience
Solid in Accounting knowledge and Meticulous to detail
Solid in Indonesia Tax Regulation including VAT, WHT and CIT
With Tax Audit Experience will be advantageous
Good communication, problem solving and time management
Committed and can work with a team
Verbal and written both in Bahasa and English
Interpersonal skills, confident personality, high level of enthusiasm
