Breadcrumbs.app is an open blockchain analytics tool that empowers users to investigate and monitor crypto addresses and transactions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Your overall task is to contribute to the company's work around blockchain intelligence. In this role, you will:
- Assist in the development of heuristics, machine learning and statistical models to identify owners of cryptocurrency addresses
- Assist in collecting data that will enrich our understanding of cryptocurrency activity linked to illicit entities and financial crime
- Collaborate with developers to improve on backend data structures
- Ensure alignment of the goals and KPIs of the Attribution Data Team and implement an agile process in its workflows
- Contribute to additional research assignments for product and marketing purposes;
- Assist in commissioned researches and investigations relating to illicit activity in the blockchain;
- Conduct administrative tasks related to the role
- Be updated on latest developments in the field of blockchain technology, and cryptocurrencies
You'll work with team members that will provide sufficient guidance, support, and mentorship.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate should have:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer
- At least 2 years of experience in C#
- At least 2 years of experience in .Net
- Prior experience in researching about cryptocurrencies may it be as an enthusiast, auditor, Compliance Officer, and/or analyst;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
- A mix of both creative and strategic thinking to spot intersections of concepts and opportunities in the cryptospace.
Good to haves:
- Intermediate technical data skills (SQL, Python)
