Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and improving the backend infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
- Automation: Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling
- Monitoring & Logging: Help build and maintain monitoring systems to identify and resolve performance issues in real-time
- Incident Response: Participate in incident management and troubleshooting efforts to resolve system outages or performance degradations
- Collaboration: Work with senior engineers, development teams, and SREs to ensure system design meets reliability and scalability requirements
- Security & Best Practices: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards in infrastructure management
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement ways to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in backend infrastructure engineering or related roles
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic environment
