Our client, an international caf known for fresh, healthy meals made from organic and locally sourced produce, seeks a Bar Manager. In this role, you are responsible to oversee the daily operations of a bar, ensuring smooth service, managing staff, and maintaining inventory.
Requirements:
- Background in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Bar Manager from a well-known and international establishment in Bali.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen and front-of-house.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent in written and spoken English communications.
- Strong leadership skills and customer engagement.
- Creativity and passion for beverage creation.
- Ability and flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
- Hiring, training, and scheduling bartenders and bar staff, ensuring high standards of service, and addressing any staff issues or concerns.
- Managing inventory, ordering liquor, supplies, and bar equipment, and keeping track of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Setting and managing the bar's budget, overseeing cash flow, monitoring sales, and ensuring that the bar is profitable.
- Ensuring a high standard of service for guests, addressing customer complaints, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensuring that the bar adheres to all health, safety, and legal regulations, including responsible alcohol service laws.
- Planning and executing special events, happy hours, or promotions to increase sales and attract customers.
- Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring it meets hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensuring the quality of drinks and the overall customer experience meet the establishment's standards.
