What you will do:
Responsible for managing business development and sales activities in Indonesia for Engineered Systems, Pre-Engineered Fire Suppression Systems and Portables reporting to the Sales Director, Special Hazards.
Based upon close assessment of ongoing projects, formulate and provide monthly order bookings and sales revenue forecasts. This will include information on potential risks and opportunities, to ensure accuracy in forecasted numbers.
Participate in weekly staff calls and update the Sales Director on order bookings and sales revenue forecast achievement.
Set pricing recommendations and discount structures and participate in Special PriceRequest (SPR) review calls with the Sales Director, Pricing Manager and Technical Manager.
Support existing distributors and fire contractors, driving their sales to achieve the required minimum expectation. Act as account manager, help resolving issues that arise in supply chain and customer service. Collaboration with Inside Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Technical Services, Quality Management and Logistics teams will be required.
Identify potential new distributors and fire contractors in market segments where gaps have been identified.
Support the distribution network in marketing activities to promote awareness of Fire Suppression products, whether in conjunction with Product Management, Business Development and Marketing teams or in targeted events separately.
Develop a close and trusted relationship with JCI operations teams in Indonesia.
Cooperation with the Foam sales team in the SEA region.
Understand and interpret technical specifications
Support competitor product and price profiling to determine price positioning of JCI products.
Participate in analysis of key market segments; understand market structure with key end-users, EPC contractors and specifiers.
Ensure that accurate records of sales activities are maintained in Salesforce.com and achievement of key sales performance metrics.
What we look for:
Indonesian national, preferably based in Jakarta
Preferred Bachelors degree in Engineering and/or other related technical discipline
At least 3-5 years sales experience in a channel sales / B2B market selling related products, with a proven track record in sales achievement
Fluent English - spoken and written
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Willingness to travel throughout Indonesia
Knowledge of mining and/or oil and gas industries would be an advantage
