The Business Development Manager is responsible for defining and ensuring the implementation of function related strategies and guidelines for company. This role will manage business development activities, align sales strategies and grow business opportunities and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels for the company. This multifaceted role requires a goal-oriented person who can drive business growth, effectively manage government relations, and champion sustainability initiatives to enhance the company's organizational impact.

3) Product and Business Development:
- Define and implement product strategies that align with KARL STORZ's overall business goals, with a focus on OR-integration technologies.
- Drive market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive insights, and customer needs.
- Work closely with internal and external teams to align project goals with product offerings, ensuring effective solution presentations and training.
4) Sustainability Leadership:
- Champion sustainability initiatives, aligning them with the company's goals to create positive environmental and social impact.
5) Project and Risk Management:
- Lead strategic projects that improve sales processes, product offerings, and market positioning.
- Manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place for potential market and operational challenges.
6) Reporting and Compliance:
- Maintain a comprehensive reporting system to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Medical Technology, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in project-based sales, business development, or product management in medical devices, healthcare technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales of medical devices, OR-integration, or healthcare solutions, ideally at an international level.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and business software (SAP, SFDC).
- Strong understanding of OR-integration workflows, video & audio transmission, and documentation processes.
- Basic knowledge of IT, networking, and OR integration technologies
- Proficiency in English
