Role Description

1. Provide effective leadership to the data team, including goal setting, performance management, and professional development.

2. Oversee the analysis and interpretation of data to extract valuable insights and inform business decisions.

3. Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and optimize performance.

4. Develop and implement data management processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

5. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing quality assurance processes and conducting regular audits.

6. Identify areas for improvement in data analysis processes and tools, and implement solutions to enhance performance.

7. Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team by providing training and development opportunities.

8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights and solutions.

9. Identify and mitigate risks related to data management and analysis.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, Master's degree preferred.

2. Proven experience (5 years) in a data analysis or management role, with demonstrated leadership skills.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

5. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.

6. Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, etc.

7. Knowledge of data management best practices and techniques.

8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.

10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
