The Channel Manager, Indonesia for Leica Biosystems is responsible for implementing the business strategy to optimize the relationship with and achieve maximum results for Indonesia. This role will be responsible for implementing the business strategy to optimize the relationship with and achieve maximum results for Indonesia. This role has an emphasis on developing the untapped market with distribution channel, project development with channel partners (CPs) and relationship building with CPs and end customers. Assessing and reporting sales and order forecasts accurately is key. Individual are expected to develop strategic plan, strategic relationships, drive market visibility and ensure business continuity in the country.
This position is part of the SEA Commercial team located in Indonesia and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the SEA Commercial team and report to the General Manager responsible for driving our channel partners to achieve sales, profit initiatives, business goals and assigned revenue quota. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive our channel partners to achieve sales top line, profit initiatives, business goals and assigned revenue quota by being up to date with country healthcare plans, policy changes and budget visibility in related field. Monitor project budget publications and announcements from customer base and target customers, channeling information to management in timely fashion.
Run regular KPI reviews with Channel Partners and develop countermeasure when KPIs are in red. Run weekly, biweekly funnel reviews to ensure 30,60,90 days visibility of our must win funnels vs what is built in the forecast. Once a month full funnel review to ensure funnel cleanliness and funnel/ projects updated at any point of time. Organize monthly business review with LBS stake holder with CPs leadership team to ensure functional KPI are on track and action plans developed.
Drive proactively follow-up to expedite orders on time with channel partners and resolve problems involving payments, delivery and product performance matters. Evaluate territory performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc.) and take appropriate action to continuously improve performance proactively.
Commercial excellence: well defined go to market strategy - CPs selection and deployment strategies based on market needs and opportunities.
Operational excellence: Drive rigor in standard dealer operation works (CPs scheduled reporting, sales, technical and service capabilities of CPs) and ensure sustainment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives in a Medical Device company, Diagnostics company or life science; year over year results across indirect channels.
Ability to travel across Indonesia for 70% of the time to lead and drive sales directly or with the channel partner.
Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling, business development, sales presentation, negotiation and Key Account Management.
Bachelors Degree in Science, business with minimum 5 years of Sales experience with a leading diagnostics or medical devices or life science company across Sales & Marketing experience in Indonesia market is a MUST.
High Proficiency in speaking and writing English and Local Bahasa Indonesia.
