Job Summary:
Festive Fields Entertainment is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at our South Jakarta outlet. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, while contributing to the overall success of the culinary operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Management: Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pantry, pastry, etc.), ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with company standards, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.
- Team Leadership: Supervise junior kitchen staff (Commis, Cook Helpers), providing training, guidance, and feedback to enhance team performance.
- Health & Safety Standards: Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment, tools, and workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and health standards.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items, improve existing recipes, and stay current with culinary trends.
- Stock Management: Assist with inventory control, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and stocks are well-maintained, minimizing waste.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and late hours.
