About the Role:
As a CDP, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, contribute to innovative menu creations, and grow your career in a fast-paced and supportive atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the chefs specifications.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety.
Support various kitchen stations as needed and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Keep the station clean, organised, and well-stocked.
Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available for daily use.
Requirements:
Complete a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Sous Chef
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
