A leading consumer bank is looking to recruit a new CFO to join their leaderships team in Jakarta. Reporting into the CEO, the CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and investor relations
About the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position:
The successful candidate will bring extensive financial expertise, leadership experience, and a strong understanding of both traditional banking and the technology ecosystem
- Develop and execute the bank's overall financial strategy in alignment with its business goals, especially the launch and scaling of new products in Indonesia
- Partner with senior leadership to support business decisions, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability as the bank diversifies its portfolio
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational priorities
- Oversee risk management strategies to ensure the bank operates within regulatory frameworks while managing operational, financial, and technological risks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders to promote transparency, trust, and support for the bank's long-term growth objectives
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
This individual will play a critical role in supporting the bank's growth, particularly in the development and launch of innovative banking products tailored to the Indonesian market
Skills and experience needed:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally in the banking, consumer finance, or technology sectors
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or MBA are highly desirable
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Experience in working with technology-driven products, digital banking, or financial technology (FinTech) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian banking environment, regulatory landscape, and consumer behavior
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is required
