Job Summary:
As the Chief Health Business Officer, you will be responsible for leading our Health business, focusing on both employee benefits and individual health. Your strategic vision will guide our efforts to optimize account renewals, generate new business, and enhance customer and distributor satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in achieving our profitability and growth targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare, Insurance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health or life insurance, with a focus on strategic operations.
- Proven track record in consulting, insurtech, or health tech industries is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Operations & Performance: Drive top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability through strategic planning and performance analysis.
- Operational Activities: Ensure efficient operations, improving turnaround times in underwriting, claims, and policy processing.
- Operational Support: Support company strategy through enhanced processes and technology implementation.
- Internal and External Engagement: Foster relationships with business partners, clients, and internal stakeholders to secure renewals and manage claims.
- Building Organizational Culture: Develop and manage team performance, retention, and succession planning.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to compliance policies and monitor team behavior.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Growth in top-line revenue across multiple distribution channels.
- Achievement of loss ratio and combined ratio targets.
- Successful introduction of innovative products and evaluation of existing offerings.
