Position Overview
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of the Global Leadership Team in Singapore, with a primary focus on supporting the Education and Marketing Events for the Ophthalmology Team. This role involves working alongside leaders at top-tier healthcare organizations to conceptualize and develop strategic initiatives for the Ophthalmology Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Product Leadership Team in Singapore and other Clinical Managers to drive product initiatives and support the product roadmap
- Work with client-facing teams to understand and validate new enhancement requests from clients
- Gather user feedback to identify new needs, gain deeper insights into new requests, and solicit feedback on newly released product enhancements
- Prioritize and document requirements for upcoming product releases
- Ensure technical solutions align with user needs and solve specific challenges
- Develop and document acceptance criteria for marketing events and educational programs in Indonesia
- Be the expert and go-to person for your initiatives
- Educate internal stakeholders and users on new features and enhancements, and contribute to relevant internal and external communications
- Collaborate with the sales team to build relationships and expand networks with hospital representatives in the assigned region
- Identify business opportunities and strategically develop key accounts to ensure consistent sales growth
- Provide technical assistance to Product Specialists, sales teams, distributor representatives, and end users
Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in a Science or Health-related field (e.g., Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, etc.) with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Ophthalmology
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or Clinical Manager, particularly in the Intraocular Lens (IOL) business will be an advantage
- Fluent in English (both oral and written) is a must
- Familiarity with the medical equipment market and promotional strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing tactics and materials is preferred
- Strong networking skills and experience in building relationships with doctors and hospital representatives
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams while resolving challenges
- Strong presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, managerial, and business communication skills.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and detail-driven
- Ability to understand and navigate complex medical procedures
- Willingness to travel as needed
