Job Description

The Clinical Healthcare Executive, within the divisions of Patient Monitoring and Neurology, is a registered nurse who is responsible for overseeing all clinical pre-sale support activities. This includes but is not limited to C-Suite meetings, product demonstrations, clinical and legacy assessments, clinical evaluations on live patients and best practice/workflow consultations. Ensures that these activities are successfully planned and executed for all current and future NK customer accounts. Responsible for the daily operations of the Clinical Consulting Team (CCT) to include the human resources activities associated with team management, promoting the professional growth and development of the team and individual members and finally, ensuring the success of the Clinical Consulting Program within NKA.

Essential Functions And Main Duties

  • Maintains RN license and ensures competence and understanding of clinical trends within the landscape of healthcare.
  • Leads and supports the Clinical Consulting Team and facilitates a positive relationship with the RVP's of Sales PM and Neuro, the HSA Team and Marketing. Oversees the development and engagement of the individual roles within the CCT including the Clinical Solutions Specialists, Key Account Specialist and Senior Nurse Executives.
    • Develps pathways for growth and engagement for current team members to promote job satisfaction and retention of team members.
    • Recruits and hires full time nursing persnnel to support identified geographical territories according to the business needs when there is a vacancy within the CCT.
  • Coordinates and supports new employee on-boarding for the CCT and submits program documentation according to company policies.
  • In addition to cultivating, coaching and mentoring each member of the CCT, monitors individual members performance and partners with HR as needed when concerns are noted.
  • Plans for the pre-sale clinical support for potential and current customer accounts in the United States, by interacting with the RVP's and AE's and coordinates the engagement of CCT with the following:
    • Attends clinical assessments, strategic sales presentatins, product demonstrations and customer meetings o Mentor and support new AE's around both clinical and product knowledge
    • Wrks to broaden the reach of the clinical support through professional organizations and speaking engagements that are then shared within NK with key stakeholders.
  • Interacts regularly with Senior Director of Clinical Excellence to promote smooth, successful transition from pre-sale to implementation within the sales cycle.
  • Subject matter expert on healthcare industry best practices, NK product knowledge as product operations or features changes through product life cycles
  • Participates in high profile account presentations and assessments
  • Reviews and approves expenses reports and assures policy compliance with direct reports
  • Select, manage, develop, and hold accountable team members to meet department deliverables and responsibilities. Complete company people management requirements. Exhibit manager competencies.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.
Qualifications

Education / Certification / Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, MSN preferred
  • CPHQ and CENP required within 18 months of hire
  • Registered nurse with a current license issued in the United States
  • 5+ years of experience in Hospital leadership (CNO, ACNO), with people management experience, including driving results through others, leading teams or projects, and providing training
  • 3+ years of Director level management experience in patient care area: critical care or ED
  • Has developed clinical programs and produced positive outcomes
  • Experienced in effectively managing multiple projects and the resources to complete them
  • Level and compensation depend on location, experience, education and skills

  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Compensation

Your Total Target Compensation (TTC) is composed of a $165,000-185,000 base salary plus incentives for achieving defined business goals including commission, bonus, business objectives, or combination thereof.

Working Conditions

Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company's discretion.

Physical: Generally, may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 25 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

Travel: Approximately 50-60%

Access to Customer Sites: It is an essential function of this position to perform duties in healthcare facilities, and to achieve the necessary vendor credentialing. As part of this process, it is typically required to provide proof of vaccinations (including for COVID-19), and related personal medical information, and to comply with other criteria as needed to be able to work at customer sites. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company.
