As a Cluster Chief Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. Your duties include tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in finance department.
- Proven experience as a senior accountant or chief accountant.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable.
- Experience in handling multi-business accounts is mandatory.
- Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches.
- Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and leading a finance team in the hospitality sector.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the company's financial health and growth
- Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations. - Supervise investment activities and provide strategies for cash management.
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and statements to the CEO, board of directors, and shareholders.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to support business decision-making.Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain financial discipline and control.
- Lead and manage the finance team, including accounting, treasury, tax, and investor relations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
- Work closely with other senior executives and departments to support and drive company objectives.
- Engage with investors, banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Ensure corporate governance compliance and adherence to ethical standards.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
