Established in 2016, AFTECH is an association for fintech start-ups, financial institutions, and technology companies in financial services industry. With vision and mission to support financial inclusion through digital financial services, AFTECH activities include policy advocacy, collaborative community development, literacy, and education programs, as well as knowledge and intelligence initiative. In August 2019, AFTECH is formally appointed by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) as the Association for Digital Finance Innovation (Inovasi Keuangan Digital).

We are looking for Community Development Intern!
Scope of Work:
-Providing administrative support to AFTECH Community Development Team including:
- Support in the registration process for new members, including verification of information and initial orientation.
- Support in maintaining an organized and up-to-date member database.
- Support in compiling monthly reports summarizing community activities, developments, and compliance status.
- Support in monitoring relevant regulations and policies affecting AFTECH and its members, assist in ensuring that the association and its members comply with regulatory requirements, monitor and review complaint/concern reports, and conduct initial identification related to the implementation or violation of market conduct.
- Support in gathering feedback and concerns from members regarding regulatory issues and assist in providing support to members in resolving compliance-related issues.
- Support in providing input for continuous improvement based on data analysis, compliance status, and member feedback.
-Providing support to the operational and implementation of AFTECH Community Development activities.
Requirements:
- Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Available to work from office a minimum of 40 hours per week for a duration of at least 3 months.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with fintech, social media platforms and content management.
- Basic knowledge of Fintech is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
