Corporate Affairs Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders. This role involves monitoring and influencing legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and advocating for the company's interests. Public policy and government relations function is the company contribution to the financial sector as a Good Corporate Citizenship in Indonesia.
Job Description:
Prepare regular reports and updates on relevant legislative and regulatory issues for senior management.
Prepare and present position papers, testimony, and other advocacy materials to government officials and regulatory agencies
Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, in collaboration with the company's Legal & Compliance team.
Identify potential regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Communicate regulatory and legislative updates to relevant internal stakeholders and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
Maintain detailed records of government relations activities, including meetings, communications, and advocacy efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, or a related field
Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop strategic responses.
Technical requirement of familiarity and creativity to develop presentation/proposal deck.
