Job Description
As our Astronaut, you will be doing:
Strategic Financial Planning
- Lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process, producing short- and medium-term forecasts with well-founded assumptions.
- Develop and maintain financial models for Astro and its business units.
- Identify and monitor financial and business risks, create mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
- Conduct industry analyses to pinpoint potential improvement areas for the Business Team.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Evaluate current business performance against initial plans and budgets to generate actionable insights that support the Business Team in optimizing operations.
- Collaborate with the Business Team to establish OKRs for tracking performance and organizational health.
Investor Relations & Communication
- Prepare investor reports, emphasizing key business performance metrics and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Construct business cases for new opportunities by assessing market potential, cost structures, and funding requirements.
Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Design and implement purchasing strategies that align with ethical and industry procurement standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities with vendors while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop negotiation strategies to secure optimal pricing and favorable payment terms.
Process Improvement
- Establish collaborative workflows with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements to safeguard company interests.
Job Requirements
In order to launch successfully, you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economic
- Strong understanding of capital structure and corporate finance
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a Corporate Finance position within a fast-moving and dynamic business environment, preferably as a Senior Corporate Finance Management position.
- Experienced with building financial models, including valuation and debt modeling
- Having a business mindset and detail-oriented.
- Have professional integrity, fairness, independence and objectivity.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Self-starter who can manage relationships, deliverables and expectations with your business partners.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
- Exceptionally data analysis skills and good problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills acquired covering a broad spectrum of financial structures and financial business plans.
- Ability to influence a cross-functional team and senior business leadership.
