THE ROLE
As the Country Manager managing Indonesia region, you will be primarily responsible for the achievement of sales targets in the territory assigned, and the implementation of the sales strategies as set out by the management. You also will drive the sales cycle from initial contact to signing of the deal, and then maintaining a good client relationship, as well as take part in market analysis and relationship building with senior management and key opinion leaders in the banking and financial services sectors.
OPPORTUNITES
- You will achieve New Logo sales targets established for the region, preparing, and executing a territory sales plan in accordance with Temenos strategy.
- You will start and manage the full new logo sales cycle, coordinating pre-sales and other specialist resources as needed. Work with the lead pre-sales resource to ensure professional engagement with the prospect to fully understand their requirements, deliver quality proposals that emphasize Temenos strengths.
- You will negotiate or assist in the negotiations (depending on the deal size), on terms and conditions of the sales and service agreements.
- You will assist in market research and build perspective client profiles with respect to their current systems, potential future software investments, strategies, and key decision makers.
SKILLS
- You should have a proven track record of new sales and achievement of sales targets in the banking and financial sectors, plus substantial relevant experience within the same domain.
- You should be able to deal with people at all levels within an organization and show and demonstrate negotiating skills with key decision makers.
- You should have a good understanding of banking operations and relevant processes (front, middle, back office), thorough understanding of IT and software solutions.
- You should have effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, international exposure, and ability to be deployed across the territory.
- You should have exposure and experience working within a global company.
- You should have a consultative sales approach which enables listening to and understanding customer needs.
- You should be able to engage with C suite level management both within Temenos and clients.
- You should be able to spot opportunities and diligently manage customer engagements from inception to close.
- You should be commercially aware with sound financial acumen.
- You should be data-driven and able to use data to tell stories, engage clients and create value and drive clients to action.
- You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude, and tenacious deal maker and closer.
- You should be able to navigate change and deal with ambiguity.
- You should have a global mindset, a team spirit, and a desire to make a real impact.
- You should have a passion for technology and selling!
- You should be fluent in English. Proficiency in local language is a plus.
