Position Summary:
We are looking for a Cyber Analyst to be part of our region security team. Its mission is to drive remediation of audit findings in the enterprise and business managed networks to reduce Thales enterprise risk.
Primary Responsibility:
The role will also cover a range of Cyber Analyst duties including investigation of Cyber Security Incident, SecOps duties such as supporting antivirus and vulnerability management services and processes, threat detections and incident responses.
Secondary Responsibility:
This role will lead and coordinate key remediation and improvement projects with stakeholders in the IT team and within the business to close out audit findings covering; Identity and Access Management, securing internet access, addressing regional firewall policy risk, IT Security awareness training.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Coordinate remediation and improvement projects with stakeholders in the ISIT team and within the business
Contribute to awareness training initiatives
Assist in Security service operational support including McAfee AV, Nessus vulnerability assessments
Support of monthly vulnerability management process
Execution of daily / weekly security processes including asset monitoring, detection responses, vulnerability assessment
Coordinate follow ups with stakeholders in and outside of ISIT on security issues
Assist with investigations into malware and phishing attempts
Requirements :
Qualifications (Academic, Professional)
Diploma/Degree in an IT-related field
Working Experience
Graduated with 1-2 years industry experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Fluent in spoken and written English is a MUST
Good communication skills and positive attitude is essential
Fundamental understanding of IT environments; networking, active directory, server and desktop operating systems is essential
Project management skills a plus
Scripting experience a plus
Ability to coordinate with stakeholders across the business
Awareness training experience a plus
