Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy from scratch for our organization.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities and threats, and design effective countermeasures.
- Regularly conduct security assessments using a variety of tools, methods, and techniques to identify and evaluate security risks.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity to ensure our systems remain secure against evolving threats.
- Work closely with various teams to ensure the secure design and development of software and hardware.
- Conduct security incident response activities and investigations, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures, and train staff on their importance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role in a production environment.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, and NIST.
- Experience in building secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
- Knowledge of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
