Data Warehousing: Utilize data warehousing technologies to store, organize, and manage data efficiently.
Cloudera: Leverage Cloudera for data processing, storage, and advanced analytics.
Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, business units, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by adhering to data governance policies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and analysis.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Cloudera and its ecosystem (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala, etc.).
Strong experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
Expertise in ETL tools and processes.
Proficiency in SQL and other database querying languages.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
