We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Engineer/Data Analyst with expertise in
Data Science to join our team in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering, data analysis, and data science, with a proven ability to generate insights and deliver meaningful visualizations. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to support business decision-making processes and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and other data processing tools.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Hive, Teradata, and similar technologies.
- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights, trends, and patterns relevant to business needs.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
- Work closely with financial stakeholders to understand data needs and provide analytics solutions to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and optimize data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and security while adhering to industry best practices.
Required Skills
- PySpark and Python programming expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Hive, Teradata, and SQL-based data warehousing solutions.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Data Science concepts, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
- Ability to gather insights from complex datasets and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with financial sector data and knowledge of financial industry regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, and data science.
- Previous experience in the financial sector is highly desirable.
