As a Data Governance Project Delivery at Maybank Indonesia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and execution of data governance initiatives across the organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Data Governance, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to drive data governance projects forward, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of data governance projects from initiation through to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with business units, IT teams, and senior management to align project objectives with strategic business goals.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly and effectively.
- Foster a collaborative environment to drive consensus and decision-making across diverse teams.
Governance Framework Implementation:
- Implement and enhance the data governance framework, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data governance.
Data Quality and Metadata Management:
- Oversee data quality initiatives and metadata management practices.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor data quality improvements.
Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts related to data governance initiatives.
- Develop and implement training programs to foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data governance projects.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (min 5 years) in project management within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on data governance or data management related areas.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data management practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g: BI/ANTASENA, OJK/SLIK, LPS/SCV, PPATK/GOAML, PDP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
