AIA is hiring for Data Scientist with below details responsibilities & requirements:
Position Objective:
- Timely and quality delivery of analytical solutions through impactful insights and predictive algorithms that support business decision making.
- Create and share insights with internal and external parties that add value to the customers and to the organization.
- Improve the customer experience, operational efficiency and innovation through leveraging on latest technologies in Machine Learning and AI/Advanced Analytics.
- Coordinate with various teams and the stakeholders to maximize the benefits and impact of AI & Analytics use cases within the organization
Key responsibilities
- Perform tasks such as data exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering with the development of APIs from data science models in a cloud-based environment.
- Facilitate the implementation of AI/Analytics use cases within the organization with proper sizing of benefits and impact to the organization.
- Analyze complex datasets and correlating information into predictive forecasts and/or fact-based trend analysis.
- Retrieve, synthesize, and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answering specific questions, increasing productivity, or improving sales performance.
- In charge and comfortable in model presentation, articulating, communicating in concise, effective and clear communication during the model development towards line of business, risk team and technical team.
- Based on defined business model, the data scientist will collaborate to do 2 prototyping diverse AI/Analytics use cases, such as but not limited to: Predictive Models, Propensity to Buy, Attrition Analysis, Recommendation Engine, etc.
Job Requirements :
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in implementing AI/Analytics/ML use cases with proven value and impact to the organization.
- Solid understanding of Statistics/ML fundamentals and demonstrated experience in Python, R.
- Solid experience and knowledge on Azure Cloud Platform (or any of the major cloud solution providers such as AWS, Azure, AliCloud) in implementing end-to-end model training, validation & deployment within the associated cloud services.
- Proven knowledge & delivery working with structured & unstructured data with a diverse set of data technologies: Informatica, Databricks, Azure Data Factory & etc.
- High fluency in Python, SQL or equivalent and experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka & etc.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub & GitLab.
- Communication skills to engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively communicate the results of the analytical solutions.
- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
