DBA

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability.
• Proficiently set up and manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
• Analyze and optimize complex Sql/NoSql queries for performance improvements.
• Diagnose and tune performance issues, including indexing strategies, partitioning, and identifying bottlenecks.
• Configure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including clustering, replication, and failover techniques.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Min 3+ years of working experience as a DBA preferably from fintech industry
• Proficiency in managing databases like SQL, and NoSQL, big plus if KDB+. Knowledge of like mongodb, redis etc is also a big plus
• Ability to analyze and optimize complex SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Experience in configuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, such as clustering, replication, and failover techniques.
• Proficient in setting up and managing backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
• Skills in diagnosing and tuning performance issues, including indexing strategies, partitioning, and identifying bottlenecks.
