About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Demand & MSO Planning Manager to manage and lead the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process, finished goods stock management, and innovation management for Indonesia and Southeast Asia Far East Asia (SEA FEA) countries. You will be responsible for demand and supply reconciliation, ensuring optimal stock levels, and driving business achievements across the region.
In this role, you will develop and implement strategic plans for stock management, innovation launches, and efficient logistics operations. Additionally, you will ensure customer service excellence and inventory optimization for Indonesia and SEA FEA.
Key Accountabilities
- Forecast Management: Analyze and update demand forecasts weekly for Indonesia and SEA FEA countries based on baseline data, distributor stock levels, promotional activities, and innovation launches, ensuring accurate inputs in the system.
- S&OP Leadership: Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, supply chain, and production teams to meet regional business targets across Indonesia and SEA FEA countries.
- Demand & Supply Reconciliation: Lead reconciliation meetings to align demand and supply plans, ensuring the business achieves its objectives and maintains optimal stock levels across the region.
- Stock & Delivery Planning: Strategically plan and schedule the procurement, storage, and delivery of imported and outsourced finished goods for Indonesia, optimizing logistics and supply chain efficiency.
- Inventory Optimization: Monitor finished goods inventory to ensure it meets customer service and dispatch rate targets while maintaining stock levels within the established limits for Indonesia and SEA FEA countries.
- Innovation Management: Oversee the development and execution of project timelines for new product innovations, ensuring timely launches across Indonesia and SEA FEA countries.
- Transition Planning: Manage product phase-out strategies by developing transition plans that minimize leftover inventory and accurately estimate write-offs during product discontinuation.
- Master Data Integrity: Ensure master data for finished goods is consistently maintained and accurate for Indonesia and SEA FEA countries to support efficient operations and decision-making.
- Waste Reduction: Track and analyze slow-moving, obsolete, or overstocked finished products, driving initiatives to reduce waste and improve overall inventory efficiency across the region.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Demand Planning, Innovation Planning, Supply Chain Management, with strong knowledge of forecasting and inventory management.
- Experience in SAP SD, MM, and Power BI, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven ability to articulate complex concepts clearly, both in writing and presentations.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to improving logistics performance.
