Job Description

Responsibilities

Analyze sales trends, historical data, and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate with related teams to align demand forecasts with business strategies and objectives.
Monitor forecast accuracy and make adjustments based on changes in demand patterns or market conditions.
Create and maintain demand planning reports, providing insights on inventory levels, stockouts, and potential overstock situations.
Identify demand risks and opportunities, recommending strategies to improve inventory management and customer satisfaction.
Assist in inventory optimization efforts by aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities.

Requirements

Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis (1-2 years preferred).
Experience in the retail industry.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, and knowledge of demand planning software is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
