Position: Deputy Environment Compliance Manager
Location: PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park, North Maluku
Key Responsibilities
- Organize annual risk analysis workshops/sessions with key managers on environmental risks in mining operations.
- Identify, implement, and review corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Manage and report environmental compliance data.
- Design and develop environmental compliance frameworks, management systems, policies, processes, guidelines, procedures, and controls to improve environmental management performance.
- Manage organizational environmental performance and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
- Identify and update applicable environmental regulations and requirements.
- Regularly review the compliance of operational activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Science or Engineering, with Environmental expertise.
- 10 years of experience in environmental management in mining, commodities, or heavy industries (e.g., chemical industries).
- Practical, hands-on personality with a passion for finding solutions and maintaining excellent relationships.
- Field-oriented, with strong communication skills to collaborate with operations teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
