Position Summary:
As the Deputy Head of Data & Cloud Platforms, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and management of data and cloud services within the organization. This role involves overseeing the architecture, implementation, and optimization of data solutions and cloud infrastructure to support business objectives and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the data and cloud strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data and cloud technologies for competitive advantage.
Architecture and Design:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures and cloud solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all platforms.
Team Management:
- Manage a high-performing team of Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Data Scientists.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Project Oversight:
- Oversee data and cloud-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and success criteria.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to understand their data and cloud needs.
- Present insights and recommendations to drive data-driven decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in data management and cloud services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale data and cloud projects.
