Responsibilities
- Develop Sales Strategies : Formulate and implement effective sales strategies tailored to government clients to drive growth and achieve sales targets in the B2G sector
- Government Contracts Management and Proposal Submission : Identify, pursue, and manage government contracts and procurement opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulations. Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders to government agencies.
- Relationship Building : Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, procurement officers, and decision-makers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Team Management and Market Analysis : Train, and manage a team of sales representatives specializing in government sales. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand government needs.
- Sales Forecasting and Compliance : Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management. Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant legal regulations, government procurement policies, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- Minimum of 2 year of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the B2G sector or similar. Proven track record of successfully securing government contracts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and procurement officers
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes and regulations. Familiarity with the products and services relevant to the government sector
- Strong leadership and team management abilities. Results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities
