What will you do:
The Desk Collection Manager is responsible for managing the desk collection team and ensuring the efficient and effective management of collections from customers. The role involves monitoring performance, setting targets, and ensuring that team members adhere to company policies and procedures. The Desk Collection Manager must have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate team members to achieve their targets.
Job Descriptions:
- Manage the desk collection team and ensure all collections are handled in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor performance of team members, set targets and provide feedback to ensure that they are meeting their KPIs
- Develop and implement strategies to increase collections and minimize bad debt
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and in accordance with company standards
- Analyze collection data and provide regular reports to the Director of Operations
- Collaborate with other departments to improve collection processes and customer experience
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide training and coaching as needed
- Continuously review and improve the effectiveness of the desk collection team
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, preferably in a financial services or fintech industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of collections regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
