The 2D/3D Animator must be disciplined and artistic, as well as have a firm grasp of animation techniques, fundamentals, and software. He or she will read scripts, work with the art director to understand project requirements and create storyboards and animations. He or she should be cooperative and reliable. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, and creative, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be open to fresh concepts to provide the best service to our clients.
- Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop concepts for characters, scenes, backgrounds, and other animation elements as well as storyboard
Develop timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements
- Use creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in a visual form
Continues to research industry trends and developments and learn new applications- Collaborating with other creatives including designers and producers to finalize projects
Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure proper output delivery
- Ensuring that the final product meets the needs of the client and is delivered on time and within budget
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Film/Visual Communications/Multimedia Design/Mass Comm or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years in the creative/media industry candidates are required to send in their portfolio for reference
- Passionate about social media and online content, ability to identify trends
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Cloud or similar, most importantly but not exclusively Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop- Excellent knowledge of audio balancing and color grading, sequencing of clips, and exporting in a variety of formats
Impeccable sense of story-telling, timing, and tone is a plus
- Good written and verbal English communication skill is a must
