Your Role
Your primary objective will be to deliver against our distribution strategy by ensuring that operations excellence is a priority.
Your Responsibilities
To drive + manage development of our transportation + distribution offerings.
To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction + operational performance.
To lead + direct operational reviews with vendors + customers.
To provide training, support process mapping + implement solutions as well as new businesses.
To work closely with sales teams in ensuring target growth is achieved.
To monitor operations + all activities relating to customer on boarding, retention + operational excellence as well as ensuring compliance with internal policies + external regulations.
Your Skills and Experiences
Significant experience in logistics and distribution management, typically 5-10 years. Experience with contract logistics or third-party logistics (3PL) is particularly valuable.
Excellent verbal and written in English, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
Proven track record of managing teams, with experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams, handle conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
Experience in managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and meet business objectives.
