Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Drafter to join our team. The Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on the specifications and calculations provided by engineers and architects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, proficiency in drafting software, and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure they meet all project requirements and industry standards.- Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings and plans, paying close attention to detail.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and material specifications as required.
Conduct site visits as needed to gather measurements and other necessary data for accurate drawings.- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in drafting technology and software.
Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
