Job Description

At KinderCastle, we are pioneering a new approach to early childhood education in Indonesia, leveraging real-time technology and science-backed curricula to provide personalized, safe, and interactive daycare experiences. As we rapidly scale, we are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Early Years Curriculum Coordinator to help drive our vision forward and support our mission of reimagining childcare.

To help you understand more about the role, here's the job scope:

Curriculum Development and Implementation

  • Develop a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum that supports children's cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and moral development.
  • Create thematic and seasonal lesson plans that align with learning objectives, cultural inclusivity, and milestones for early childhood development.
  • Work closely with the Head of Curriculum & Programs, center administrators, and other team members to align curriculum goals with overall company objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education and integrate these into curriculum development.

Teacher Training and Support

  • Provide hands-on guidance, feedback, and mentorship to teachers, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery across classrooms.
  • Offer resources and coaching to teachers on addressing various learning styles and meeting individual children's developmental needs.

Family Engagement

  • Communicate curriculum objectives and updates to parents and caregivers through meetings, newsletters, or workshops.
  • Address parent inquiries and concerns regarding the curriculum, assessments, and child development milestones.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen family involvement in the educational process, including at-home learning ideas.

What we look for...

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership, coordinator, or curriculum planning role
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories and curriculum frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative, hands-on learning activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting.
