We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Education Counsellor (Sales) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales within the study abroad or related industry. Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads through various channels including but not limited to networking, referrals, cold calling, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Conduct thorough consultations with prospective students to understand their educational aspirations, preferences, and constraints.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information about our study abroad programs, including academic offerings, admission requirements, visa processes, and financial considerations.
- Customize study abroad solutions based on individual student profiles, preferences, and academic goals.
- Guide students through the application process, assisting with document preparation, application submission, and interview scheduling as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as admissions, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the management.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the study abroad industry, as well as changes in visa regulations and academic requirements.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, etc.) preferred.
- Communicate well in English.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the study abroad industry or related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering exceptional student experiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of foreign languages and familiarity with international education systems is a plus.
