- This job has responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including malfunctioning equipment, electrical components, and wiring problems
Execute repairs and replacements of faulty electrical parts, components, and wiring to restore equipment functionality- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems as needed
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used, time spent, and work completed
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Provide training and technical support to maintenance teams and operators on electrical systems and equipment
3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair within a manufacturing or industrial setting- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motors, relays, and PLCs
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools effectively
Understanding of safety practices and procedures related to electrical work- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Certification in electrical safety (e.g. CESCP/CEI/CET/CEP/CCNA/ISA/SKTTK) is a must
