PT. Unggul Dinamika Utama, a mining contractor company expanding its operations in coal and gold mining, is seeking a Manager Engineering to support its growth. This role will focus on strategic and operational excellence, ensuring efficient mine planning and execution for client projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in coal and gold mining operations, with a focus on contracting services.
- Strong expertise in mine planning, including short-term and long-term planning, geotechnical analysis, mine design, and scheduling.
- Proficient in mining software such as Minex, XPAC, SPRY, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of contractual management, cost structure, and cost control in a contractor environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with proven ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term mine plans aligned with client requirements.
- Perform pit optimizations, mine scheduling, and mine design to maximize operational efficiency.
- Support tender processes with accurate cost evaluations, technical proposals, and planning support.
- Ensure project plans align with budgets and contractual obligations.
- Monitor project performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve margins.
- Provide geotechnical and operational guidance to site teams to ensure safe and efficient mining practices.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and operational practices to meet company and client objectives.
