Engineering MEP

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within various construction projects. The MEP Engineer will work closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure that all MEP systems are integrated and functioning efficiently, meeting both safety standards and client requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning:

• Develop and review detailed designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure MEP systems are integrated into the overall building design.

• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for MEP systems.

Project Management:

• Oversee the installation of MEP systems on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of work and ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety regulations.

• Resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction process related to MEP systems.

Quality Control & Safety:

• Ensure that all MEP installations meet the required safety standards and are executed with a focus on quality.

Perform regular inspections and testing of installed systems to verify their proper functioning and performance.

• Address any defects or deficiencies in MEP systems promptly.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of MEP systems within the broader construction process.

Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on MEP-related matters.

• Prepare and present progress reports, including any challenges or changes in scope, to senior management and clients.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of design changes, installations, inspections, and testing results.

Prepare as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals for handover to clients.

• Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia.

• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
